Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds you and your family well! The health and safety of our children, staff, and families is our greatest concern. As an essential business, our goal is to remain open and operating during the COVID-19 pandemic, to support essential workers, working parents and our staff as well, unless governing officials advise otherwise.
We are taking the following extra precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at our school.
1- Children over the age of 2 no longer have to wear face coverings (new CDC guidelines)
while in the day care facility. Outside of the day care facility, children over the age of 2
must wear face coverings. Parents/Caregivers dropping off and picking up must wear face
coverings.
2- Wellness check (temperature, cough or shortness of breath) of each child will be initiated at
drop off and throughout the day. Any child with a fever above 100 F and symptoms
mentioned above will be sent home immediately. A doctor's note is required to return back to
the day care facility.
Important: If your child is showing any possible COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness
of breath, aches, sore throat, diarrhea, rashes, etc.) or if you or any one in your home have
any of these symptoms, please everyone stay home!
3- Staff reporting to work must wear face coverings and their temperatures checked upon
entry and throughout the day. Staff with fevers above 100 F and symptoms mentioned
above will be sent home immediately. A doctor's note is required to return back to work.
4- Social distancing of children and extra frequent hand washing will be conducted throughout
the day.
5- In addition to our normal sanitizing policies, extra sanitizing will be perform throughout
the day of frequently touch areas (tables, chair, high chairs, trays, tablets, bathrooms, etc.).
6- Extra food servings amount of vitamin C and calcium enriched foods (fruits, vegetables,
orange juice, milk) will be served to ensure good health and disease prevention.
We understand this is a stressful time for our families and want to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff is our main priority. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or additional concerns.
We are so grateful and thankful for your help and support during this challenging time!
